Hope is not a strategy, nor is it an effective business plan - if you want to empower business we have got to be able to create net zero markets that drive people, planet and profits.

Keynote Speaker, Verdantix Climate Summit EMEA 2024

Achieving
transformation

Corporate sustainability strategies are being formed under the pressure of a trifecta of forces. On the one hand, business leaders are reacting to regulatory requirements and growing awareness of ESG-related risks. On the other, shareholders and investors want to see the firms they own taking advantage of the changes brought about by the transition to a responsible and low-carbon economy. Too often, this results in ad hoc or short-term measures to meet immediate requirements. In reality, what is actually required is wholesale organizational transformation underpinned by a shared vision and new ways of working.

Managing change on this scale - and with so many moving parts - is no easy task.
